If you do F U L L
V I E W, you'll just fall inside! Taken at the "Star" parking in Geneva with my friend I know it's one of the most popular pic people take, but I found it interesting, especially thanks to the colours! ps1: If you liked it check this one : [link] ps2: Thanks to |

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.

Right near P+R etoile, just near where the old number 4 bus was, and the new 15 tram - near carouge....... yeah - freaky...
Okay, enough of my rambling though: It's a nice shot, although the lack of a depth of field makes the whole shot a little too balanced - every thing is in focus, so it is a little bland... The yellow on the right hand side is also really over exposed, as assumingly thats the only part that gets direct lighting - it is quite distracting. The crappy stairs also means there is not much contrast.
The unique patterns though - the intersecting lines, and the bold colours - plus all the memories i have associated with geneva - it results in a great shot.
Second thanks a lot for your comment. I think that it is the most constructiv I received since I am on Deviant...
Third, concerning your comment, I think that this kind of shot is better with a low aperture. As non element of the pic is more important, I think it's more logical to have a focus on everything. Concerning the yellow part, I don't think it's overexposed. To me overexposition is when it's burned, and this is not..is it? I added saturation to the yellow and maybe this is what made you feel this overexposition..?
Concerning the contrast, I dont' really see where you see there is a lack. If you check between the yellow and the stairs, there is a clear contrast, isn't it?
Fourth, I am really sorry not to agree with you on those points. I hope you'll not think that I don't accept criticisims, because I may ensure you that it's not the case. I criticise a lot other people (in a good or bad way) and I really can't stand people that just can't accept bad comments. Herea again, I really liked that you criticised my work., it's so rare that people dare on Deviant!
